The Skete of Agios Panteleimon, which belongs to the monastery of Koutmousios, consists of 19 cells and is located near Karyes. It was founded in 1785 and has a remarkable library of manuscript codes and forms. The fathers of the Skete are mainly engaged in land cultivation, hagiography, bookbinding, sewing, etc. In the place where the Skete is built, it is said that there was a town in ancient times.
